Fondue

Here's something easy! Fresh strawberries, mini pretzel rods, and bite size brownies. All to be dipped in a hot pot of melted milk chocolate. All you need is skewers and you're ready to dip!

Japple-Lanters

How cute is this! Caramel covered apples for Halloween. We called them Japple-Lanterns, since they look like pumpkins!

Thanksgiving Perfect Pumpkin Pie

This is a Pumpkin Pie made with pie crust cookie cutters.....though you could use any cookie cutters, these were festive and very appropriate for the Fall season and Thanksgiving. I love the pie dish too, with the scalloped edges!

Happy Birthday! Giant Cupcake Cake

This isn't a cupcake at all......it's a giant cupcake cake! Simply decorated. Next time I'm going to fill it with something sweet. I just need someone to have a birthday so I have an excuse to practice!

Individual Molten Chocolate Lava Cakes

Molten Chocolate cake is so overdone! I've seen it many times before and I wanted to make it a little bit different...so I topped mine with chocolate covered raspberries and extra fresh raspberries on top. The goey chocolate centers made for more dipping of the fresh raspberries. Looks like someone snagged a few before I took the photo! Can you tell I like to cover everything with chocolate!!!!!

Chocolate Covered Treats (Fruits and Nuts) and Citrus Wine

This was an assorted platter of treats for Thanksgiving. Chocolate dipped apricots, chocolate dipped clementines, sugared pecans, and sugar walnuts, and a few pieces of Lindt dark chocolate with citrus flavoring. I accompanied this dish with a few bottles of sweet dessert wine that picked up the citrus flavors and yummy chocolate! It was a nice touch.

Death by Chocolate

This was for Jeff's Birthday. I made him a chocolate cake with a raspberry filling. The entire cake was covered in milk and white chocolate chips and topped with a few peanut butter cups! Decadent!

Plate full o' Cookies

What a fun idea! A cookie platter! This popular dessert allows you to add a variety of treats that appeal to everyone! Proper planning and scheduling your oven is the only thing required for this plate. Includes:
- Milk chocolate covered ruffled potato chips
- Dark chocolate covered ruffled potato chips
- Raspberry filled star cookies
- Peanut butter whoopie pies
- Pistachio and chocolate swirl cookies

Christmas Gingerbread Cookie Row Houses

This is a pound cake frosted with a vanilla sugar glaze and surrounded by gingerbread townhouses! This was a Martha Stewart recipe...so adorable, but quite time consuming!

Christmas Cupcakes

These were fun an easy cupcakes that I made for a holiday dinner party. All you do is frost them and roll the edges in plates full of different toppings!

Easter Truffles and Chocolate Painted Sugar Cookies

These are some chocolate covered sugar cookies in the shape of a Scottish Terrior...because that's the kind of doggy we have! It looks just like him! I also made some white chocolate covered green grapes, which were an unexpected hit! The tiny chocolate balls are mini chocolate ganache filled cocoa truffles...super easy!

Easter Cupcakes

Easter Cupcakes! Actually these cupcakes are in the shape of eggs! Decorated with frosting spray paint, jimmies, and other fun things! I also dyed some of my own easter eggs as garnish.

Halloween Chocolate Covered Strawberries

These were "Vampire Kisses" or chocolate covered strawberries. I drizzled some white chocolate (colored orange) over them to add to the halloween spirit. Red would have been better though since it would look like blood and that makes more sense for a "vampire kiss!" oh well!

R.I.P. Cookies

Other treats from our Halloween party included these RIP cookies with some merengue Sleep-while-you-bake (or as I call them, Sleepy Bake Cookies) as ghosts.

Creepy Cupcakes Close-up!

- The Ghost, made with coconut flakes and M'nM eyes

- The Pumpkin

- The Graveyard - made with mini milano cookies and brown M'nM's

- The Pumpkin Patch

Creepy Halloween Cupcakes

I guess it's best to start with the first cupcakes I made that were worthy of photos. These were from a Halloween Party that me and my finacee hosted. They are creepy cupcakes! I'll post close-ups of some of them too!
